As an initiative to protect drivers, passengers, and vehicles, Mazda Canada continually monitors and tests manufactured parts and components of each new or used Mazda model to determine its effectiveness over time.  If you have received notification of a recall, this is merely letting you know your vehicle requires some attention.  Mazda is continually working to improve its products and will continue to monitor and assess all reported vehicle concerns.  If a defect that affects safety, customer satisfaction, the environment, or other matter is identified, you may be notified of a recall to have your vehicle repaired.

Mazda is committed to notifying owners of a product defect as soon as possible and is obligated by federal regulation to disclose information within 60 days of discovery of the defect.  Genuine Mazda parts are used for the replacement of the defective product at no cost to the owner.
