

Unlimited Mileage Warranty at Prima Mazda
We are so confident in our ability to engineer the world's best vehicles, and we feel the need to back them with Canada's only unlimited mileage warranty. Our vehicles are designed to be driven, so we implore you to drive them and leave the rest to us. Mazda Unlimited features 3-year new vehicle, 3-year roadside assistance, 5-year powertrain, and 7-year anti-perforation warranties. All of these terms feature unlimited mileage and is standard on all new models 2015 onward. All Mazda mid-size cars, compacts, crossovers, and SUVs offer thrilling moments whenever you are behind the wheel, and we don't want you to worry about the odometer we just want you to drive!
What's Covered
Any component of a Mazda vehicle that is 2015 or newer is covered for 36 months/unlimited kilometres from the in-service date. Vehicles, which are 2000-2014, are covered according to their original warranty terms. Customers are encouraged to add Mazda Added Protection (MAP); this package offers additional coverage over and above manufacturer warranty. The warranty is also transferrable to subsequent owners until the terms of the coverage expires. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact your local Mazda dealer.
What's Not Covered
There are many factors that will render a warranty invalid or not applicable. Below is a list of instances that will not be covered.
- Factors beyond the manufacturer's control
- Misuse of the Mazda Vehicle such as driving over curbs, overloading, racing, snowplowing, etc. (Proper usage is described in your owner's manual.)
- Accidents such as collision, fire, theft, riot, etc.
- Alteration, modification, tampering, etc.
- If the vehicle has been classified as a total loss and/or sold for salvage purposes or branded for any other reasons.
- If you experience any damage or surface corrosion from environmental factors such as: Acid rain, airborne fallout (chemicals, tree sap, etc.), salt, road hazards, hail, wind storm, lightning, floods, and other natural disasters.
- Cosmetic conditions or surface corrosion from stone chips or scratches in the paint.
- Removal of the vehicle from the warranty-applicable market for which it was produced.
- Damage due to lack of maintenance or the use of wrong fuel, oil or lubricants
- If you fail to maintain your vehicle in accordance with your vehicle specific owners manual.
- Improper maintenance, the use of other than specified fuel, oil, or lubricants recommended in your Owner's Manual.
- Normal deterioration
- Normal wear, tear, or deterioration such as discolouration, fading, deformation, blur, etc.
- Surface corrosion on any part other than the body sheet metal panels forming the exterior appearance of a Mazda Vehicle.
Maintenance is at Owner's Expense
Mazda warranty will not cover expenses such as worn wiper blades, spark plugs, keyless fob batteries, polishing or many of the other wearables that are used during day to day travel.
Maintenance services described as "Scheduled Maintenance Services," "Owner Maintenance Services" or "Appearance Care" in your Owner's Manual.
Altered Kilometrage
If Mazda investigates and comes to the conclusion that the vehicle's odometer has been altered or tampered with in any way.
When replacing the speedometer, the "Speedometer Replacement Record" in the Warranty Information Booklet must be filled in by a Mazda Dealer.
Extra Expenses and Damages
For example, there is any financial loss due to loss of use of Mazda Vehicle, lodging, car rentals, travel costs, loss of pay, and any other expenses or damages.
Tires
Tires are warranted by the tire manufacturers. Refer to the tire warranty pamphlets provided with your Mazda Vehicle for details.
Your Responsibilities
As an owner, you are responsible for properly maintaining and operating your new vehicle following manufacturer specifications and maintenance schedule outlined in your owners manual. It will also be imperative to keep all maintenance records in case you are asked to provide proof. To receive warranty service, you will be asked to schedule an appointment, preferably at the Mazda dealer the vehicle was initially purchased from.
